Emergency Ward
Clínica Magallanes offers a 24 hour Emercency Service, provided with equipment, infrastructure and trained personnel, to cope with any complex situation, both for adults and children. These will receive exclusive attention from pediatricians.
Our professionals are prepared to accept emergencies, both medical and surgical, and also to practice advanced cardiopulmonary resucitation techniques and to manage polytraumatized pacients. The Service has on-call specialists to solve the most complex pathologies of our hospitalized patients. The Emergency Ward will hospitalize a patient whose health requires it, after an initial evaluation and stabilizing process.

Our team has as its main objective to offer fast, timely, efficient and integrated attention, in a warm and personalized manner. For this purpose, the Emergency Ward has the following facilities:
- Infrastructure and equipment for all types of emergencies.
- One CPR Unit/station.
- Two pediatric stations.
- Six adult care stations.
- One Traumatology station.
- Procedures Room.
- Medical and nursing resident professionals who are highly qualified and trained in advanced techniques, providing vital assistance in trauma situations.
- On - call professionals in all medical specialities.
- Trained administrative personnel. This is especially important, taking into account the adverse mood which usually derives from an emergency situation.
- Clinical support services, 24 hours a day.
- Hospitalization of adults and children.
- Operating rooms.
- Intensive Care Unit.
- Radiology/Image service (X-Ray, ecotomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging ) Urgent Image Service during 24 hours a day.
- Clinical Laboratory and Blood Bank. Clinical and Blood Bank 24 hours a day.
- Endoscopic procedures, both for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes.
